When I tried making ice cream with just two ingredients, I never thought the result would be this good. I mean, really good. And it’s literally done in just 2 minutes, with just 2 ingredients!
Trust me, this is going to change your summer desserts this year. Homemade ice cream in every fruity flavour you want, done in no time. (Yes, I might be a bit over-excited about this recipe, but that is because I still can’t believe I found such a simple way to make ice cream! And it was so good, I wanted to lick the bowl. So I did.)
I’ve made a 2 minute mixed berry ice cream, but you can make your 2 minute ice cream with any fruit you fancy. The only necessity is that it has to be frozen. Not a big problem with all the boxes of frozen fruits you can buy nowadays, I personally always have some in my fridge to make a quick smoothie or to use in cakes. And now they’ll be used for loads of ice cream too this summer, for sure.
The ‘recipe’ is dead easy. Take the fruit out of your freezer and if you don’t have a heavy duty blender, let it defrost a tiny bit. Mix it with the sweetened condensed milk until smooth and tadaaaa….
Your ready-to-eat ice cream is there to save the day.
- 200 gr frozen mixed berries (or any other frozen fruit you like)
- 4 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- Take the fruit out of your freezer
- If you don't have a heavy duty blender, let it defrost a bit, for a few minutes
- Blend together until smooth
- Serve immediately
